You receive 4 sampling sets in an outer box. The sets can each be used for single-site or pooled-site analysis (e.g. one set per patient).
PadoTest® is a microbiological laboratory analysis that quantitatively detects periodontopathogenic marker bacteria. Dentists as well as dental hygienists throughout Europe have been routinely using PadoTest® for years.
PadoSero is a microbiological analysis that specifically detects the serotypes of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (Aa). Serotype determination (PadoSero) is already included with every PadoTest® analysis. Alternatively, PadoSero can also be ordered separately as a pure Aa serotype analysis.
The result report of PadoTest® represents a purely molecular biological evaluation of the bacterial load and does not contain any therapy or treatment recommendations or diagnoses.
PadoTest® uses Real-Time PCR technology and is validated for use in single-site and pooled-site analyses. The examination usually takes 2 working days from receipt of the sample.
